Number 36 - Books

For the entirety of the day I read. Literally.

I woke up with dad asking me to come down for breakfast. He noticed I'd slept in my gloves and I told him that I just fell asleep with them on. "I hope you're not a slasher." was his reply. :/
Everyone else was already up so I didn't have time to get dressed. I ate and showered and dressed (wishing I'd bought something other than black skinneys and a long top seeing as it was boiling - we'd eaten outside it was so hot.) After checking my facebook and phone I searched for something to do and decided to start reading the book.

I didn't put it down again. I read for the entire day, stopping momentarily to answer texts and even they were rare. The Brother kept coming in mow and again asking "how the gay guys were" but I ignored him. At dinner nothing interesting happened. The Mother asked me how I was finding the book and turned up her nose when I said that I was enjoying it. I think she was hoping that I'd say I hated it and disagreed with "gayness" but hey, you can't please everyone.

Texted L and Hatter until I had to pack my bags. We left, not very exciting car journey - I had to listen to music in one ear and the radio in the other while trying to concentrate on my book so it wasn't the best reading environment and after a while it started hurting my ears.

Got home. Watered the plant and started my laptop up. I just remembered that I meant to upload my story today but I think I need Hatters POV so I'll chase her up on that tomorrow or Tuesday or something. Meh.

Pretty boring day apart from the wrist scare in the morning - thought dad may have suspected something but he might have been reassured when I took my gloves off for most of the day (and just hid my arms behind my book.)

There's a lot booked into my diary now and this week is now full (if I'm invited to the cinema on friday. Hatter said I was but I haven't heard any details so I don't know.) Also, I haven't spoken to N in a while and I was hoping to meet up with him before my holiday. That's probably not going to happen now. Ahhh well.

Over and out,

Gloves. xx
